International SLSA Award and Qualification Training |

We are licensed and qualified to run Surf Life Saving Australia training programs internationally. Participants in these courses will gain internationally recognised International Life Saving Federation qualifications which are recognised by the ILS member countries. We are currently in the early stages of training and upskilling local PNG personnel to become fully trained and qualified ILS Junior Lifesaver and ILS Surf Lifeguards. This is the first time this or any type of training has been conducted in PNG. We are training the surfers and local villages living on the coast line in lifesaving rescue techniques and emergency care for the benefit of those in the local villages that surf, swim, fish and live in the ocean but also to help them in their quest for increasing local surf tourism. By having qualified and trained Lifeguards, the safety of surfing tourists is also increased so tourism will benefit from this training as well.. If you have queries or would like information on how we might be able to train personnel in your country please email us We base our training on the SLSA Training using the SLSA resources and use the same techniques and methods that we use in Australia to train Australians to become qualified Lifeguards and Lifesavers. SLSA is the leading provider of surf and aquatic rescue and emergency care techniques, so your country and your personnel will be confident of having the best available training. We are also able to provide surfing/boardriding training and coaching, again using and being licensed by the world leading Surf Association—Surfing Australia. In PNG, as well as training Lifeguards, we are also coaching and training their local surfers to improve the level of surfing in the country but also training and developing coaches so PNG have their own local coaches.
