Jamo is an ISA Presenter for the Surf Instructor and Surf Judge Courses. He is the Official Presenter for Courses in Papua New Guinea and Taiwan but also can run courses in other regions where there is the demand. Please contact Jamo if you have demand for a course in your area, region, state or country and we will try and assist in getting a course up and running as soon as possible for you. Our sister surf school. Walkin' On Water Surf School, is a member of the ISA Surf School Register. The ISA is the international world governing body of surfing. The International Surfing Association (ISA) is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the World Governing Authority for Surfing. It was originally founded as the International Surfing Federation in 1964 and has been running world championships since 1964 and the Junior World Championships since 1980. ISA membership includes the surfing National Governing Bodies (NGBs) of over 50 countries on six continents. Its headquarters are located in La Jolla, California. It is presided by Fernando Aguerre, first elected in 1994 in Rio, and re-elected six times since. The ISA's four Vice Presidents are Alan Atkins (Australia), Robin de Kock (South Africa), Mike Gerard (USA) and Karín Sierralta (Peru). We are extremely proud to be have asked to be an ISA Presenter and have such ties with the body helping shape surfing as a sport around the world and running worlds best courses! |
